ARA-290 (Cibinetide)
ARA-290 (Cibinetide) is an 11-amino acid peptide derived from erythropoietin (EPO) that selectively activates the innate repair receptor (IRR) without stimulating red blood cell production. It has potent anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects, promoting nerve repair, reducing neuropathic pain, and improving metabolic function. Clinical trials have shown benefits for small fiber neuropathy, sarcoidosis-related neuropathy, and diabetic complications. It represents a novel approach to tissue repair without the risks of EPO.

Dosing Protocol
1.6-4 mg per injection (20-50 units). For 16 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL, 0.08 mg per unit — 20 units = 1.6 mg, 50 units = 4 mg. For 14 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL, 0.07 mg per unit — 20 units = 1.4 mg, 50 units = 3.5 mg. Higher doses are being studied.
Reconstitution
Add 2 mL bacteriostatic water to a 16 mg or 14 mg vial.
Timing
Morning or evening, consistent timing.
