Pentosan Polysulfate
Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium (PPS) is a semi-synthetic polysaccharide with anti-inflammatory and chondroprotective properties. It promotes cartilage repair by stimulating proteoglycan synthesis and inhibiting degradative enzymes. Used extensively for joint health, particularly osteoarthritis, it also improves synovial fluid viscosity and joint lubrication. It has a long track record of veterinary and human clinical use.
